“Man in Black”

    A little history.  A number of years ago, a friend of mine, Bob Leibold, was producing a live show for cable called “UFO Update LIVE”  I began working with the group doing camera work  and eventually produced some segments for the show.  At one point we decided to create promos for the show and I came up with the idea of the ”Man in Black.”  The premise would be a cross between “Mission Impossible”  and “Men in Black”  I thought one of our colleagues, Vince, was perfect for the role.  So Vince and I put together a storyline, and we produced the first in a series.  It was a big hit with everyone.  So each year we produced a new one.  After I produced a couple promos, Kenny Young took over with two more.  After shooting the implosion of Cinergy Field, I thought the footage would be perfect for another “Man in Black.”  So Vince and I got together and produced the latest in the series.  When all was said and done, it was good enough to get an Emmy nomination.
